Figure Drawing Class

Turn the Magic All the Way UP! Mentorship and Painting Sessions

Every Saturday starting June 30. If everyone can arrive by no later than 9:45, we’ll all set up and begin drawing at 10:00am. Come through stairwell 30 and stop by Alchemy Lounge for a wonderful beverage and enjoy two hours of creativity! Fee is $7 for members and $8 for non-members. Tips welcome for the model. Huntsville Swing Dance brings in Tuxedo Junction for their July swing dance event in the Flying Monkey Arts theatre, second floor south. Suminagashi: Paper Marbling

Monday, July 23 from 6-8pm Suminagashi is a paper marbling technique that originated in Japan in the 12th Century. In this workshop, students will learn the technique of floating sumi ink on the surface of water to create their own unique sheets of marbled paper.
