Art Camp Drop In

This daily camp is designed to encourage artistic expression through a wide variety of creative experiences. During the Camp we will explore art and nature, pop art, mixed media, comic strip art, create board games (a student’s favorite) polymer clay creations, and so much more. Suminagashi: Paper Marbling

Monday, July 23 from 6-8pm Suminagashi is a paper marbling technique that originated in Japan in the 12th Century. In this workshop, students will learn the technique of floating sumi ink on the surface of water to create their own unique sheets of marbled paper. Sumi ink, brushes, and paper will be provided by the instructor. Aprons will be available, however, sumi ink does stain clothes, so please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty.
