Growing up in Michigan, I was fortunate to have pets throughout my childhood, mostly cats but a few dogs as well. Even when I moved out on my own, I continued to have cats as my faithful companions.

One day, some friends who had pets asked me to watch over their furry friends while they were away on vacation. Despite being only 10 years old at the time, I jumped at the chance and loved every moment of it. That was the beginning of my pet sitting career.

Over the years, I continued to care for pets of friends and acquaintances, whether it was for vacation coverage or just to let dogs out during the day while their owners were at work. Despite taking on other jobs like delivering newspapers and working at fast food restaurants and gas stations, pet sitting remained my favorite and most rewarding job.

When my parents moved to Huntsville about 15 years ago, they asked me to come down and help care for them. While I was sad to leave behind the pets I had cared for in Michigan, I knew that family came first. I took on various jobs in Huntsville like delivering newspapers, working at Walgreens, and serving as a school crossing guard. However, I also wanted to continue my pet sitting business, and was lucky enough to gain some great new pet clients.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to care for a wide range of animals both in Michigan and in Huntsville. My clients have entrusted me with the care of everything from baby tigers to farretts, spiders to boa constrictors, birds to chickens, lizards to, of course, cats and dogs. It has been an absolute joy and privilege to watch over these beloved pets, and I look forward to continuing this special job and meeting new pets and their owners.
