The Madison City Farmers Market (MCFM) is a truly local market, offering products that are grown or made in the Tennessee Valley. The MCFM is a producer-only market and governed by local farmers and consumers.  Everything sold at the market is grown or crafted by local farmers and craftspeople within 100 miles of the market. Nadene Mairesse, from Florence-based design studio Idyllwilde, will introduce you to several stitching and mending techniques such as sashiko, patching, and darning during this workshop in the North Floor Gallery. After practicing stitches on a linen sampler, you will learn how to patch, mend, or merely embellish your well-loved denim garment. Step Back in Time

Join us in the Historic Park every Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 for a demonstration of a historic skill. Add to your afternoon fun with a guided Historic Park tour at 2:30.
