Bonnie Smith was born and raised in Warren, MI, and pursued a teaching degree at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. She has always had a love for animals, reading, and working with children. Bonnie taught 1st grade for 12 years before transitioning to preschool at a Christian school in Troy, MI., where she Don, her husband of 26 years, who was also teaching there. They later moved to Huntsville, AL in 2008 to help her sister care for their parents.

Bonnie discovered Pampered Chef through a friend's party and decided to host one of her own. Although cooking wasn't her strong suit, she loved the company's products and the flexibility it would give her to stay at home with any future children they may adopt. The Lord had other plans for their future instead of adoption, but Bonnie and Don remained dedicated to Pampered Chef for over 20 years.

Despite being a naturally shy person, Bonnie has enjoyed meeting new people and making lasting friendships through Pampered Chef and various networking events. Since Don's passing in 2021, Bonnie has been adjusting to cooking alone again, but is grateful for the quality tools that make it easier. She looks forward to continuing to build friendships and helping others make memories in the kitchen.
