Brews to Benefit: Omni Kids Tri

Help support Omni Kids Tri and join us at Straight to Ale for Brews to Benefit. One dollar form each pint purchased will help fund children new to triathlon. These are kids that wouldn’t have an opportunity to compete. Funds raised will help to teach swim lessons, purchase bikes and running gear.

Yoga Journey

. Army veteran, Michael Streeter, who lives in Huntsville, was diagnosed with PTSD after serving eventually found his inner peace through yoga. He teaches a free Ashtanga yoga class at Straight to Ale at Campus 805 in Huntsville on Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM in the Third Floor Art Room. It lasts about an hour and a half.

Live Bald

Live Bald is an annual charity “head-shaving event” held in Huntsville, Alabama, featuring food, drink, live music, children’s activities, a chance raffle, and, of course, volunteers getting their heads shaved. Live Bald is presented by the Father Trecy Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. This is their 4th Live Bald event and in the past 3 years have raised nearly $70,000 and donated 100% to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Brews to Benefit: Russel Hill Cancer Foundation

Did you know that Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week is April 1st to the 7th? To bring more awareness to young adult cancer, the Clearview Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer (CAYAC) Program is partnering with Straight to Ale to support Russel Hill Cancer Foundation. CAYAC is a support group for young adults with cancer. $1 from every pint purchased will be donated to Russel Hill to support cancer research, education, and patient assistance. Bring your friends and grab a drink!
