Comic Art Classes

  Learn to draw comics, visual story telling, and cartooning with Kevin Stokes and Claire Johnson. Combined, Kevin and Claire have 30 plus years experience in illustration, comic art, and communication. Kevin has worked with Stan Lee as well as various comic companies. Life Drawing & Painting (Drink & Draw)

  Drink & Draw- Enjoy working from a nude or costumed model while receiving instruction on a new figure drawing topic each week. Bring your own wine or beverage and enjoy a great community setting. If pre-registration reaches 10 students, 2 models will be hired for opposite room ends to give everyone a great view. Four student minimum (pre-registration appreciated). 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 6:30-9:00 PM. $45 per class or $85 for 2. Choose your own dates when booking.

Art Camp

Our 5-day art camp is designed to encourage artistic expression through a wide variety of creative experiences. During the Camp we will explore art and nature, pop art, mixed media and comic strip art, create board games (a students favorite) and polymer clay creations. Kids will receive their own art kit to take home to continue their artistic expression upon completion of art camp. Ages: 5 to 16 Class Times: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily. Daily option also available.

String Art! Have A Heart – Kids Class

What you’ll create: In this class you’ll create a cute heart made by you! Jewelry Making for Kids

This class is aimed at school-age kids with a creative mind who like to do things with their hands. Learn how to use beads to make necklaces and bracelets, turn everyday items like popsicle sticks into bracelets, make a set of bobby pins that they can wear or give as a gift to someone, and make a friendship bracelet. Beginning Jewelry Making for Teens

This class is aimed at teenagers who are interested in fashion, jewelry, and DIY. Learn to use washi tape to make a bracelet, create your own purse/bag charm, use rhinestones to make an earcuff, and use seed beads to make a bracelet. Supplies needed/cost: Students will need to bring washi tape, jewelry pliers, embroidery floss, charms, 11/0 (12/0 will also work) seed beads. Supplies will be about $25.
